A shorter version of the “regular” release. By popular demand. As with the regular unit, this is designed to seperate when the red handle is pulled, so that a crewman can escape from the tether point in the event of an emergency.

This length is more suitable for Hughes 500 helicopters, or similar sized machines. The lanyard is 8”/200mm long.

Labelled for a safe working load of 440lbs/200kg

Can be provided with a double-locking carabiner built into it.
