Often, jumpers will have a mismatched D-bag and container. This can make it easier/harder to get your canopy in the bag. Consequently, it’ll be easier/harder to close your container. If your D-bag is too small, then your container may be too loose. ie: dangerous.

Or maybe your old D-bag is just worn out.
